I try to visit the Maerklin museum every year. Of course this depends on the available time and the destination of our holidays. Every visit I buy the museumcar.
For the older ones I have to see what is available on the second hand market at a reasonable price.
When we are not able to go to the museum I'll buy the museum car elsewhere. The editions in my possession are shown below.

Museumcar set 2009.
Type Gllmghs 37 “Leig-Einheit” pair of cars, privately owned cars lettered for the firm Märklin, used on the German Federal Railroad (DB). The cars look as they did in 1959 for the 100th anniversary of the firm Märklin, Göppingen, Germany. Magirus curved-hood “Merkur” truck with a flatbed and a tarp.

Museumcar set 2010.
The refrigerator car is painted and lettered for the firm WMF, Württembergische Metallwarenfabrik (Württemberg Metal Products Company), Geislingen/Steige, Germany, with historic product themes. The truck model with a trailer is a combination of metal and plastic. It is painted and lettered as a plant truck for the firm.

Interchange type Gms 30 "Oppeln" boxcar with a brakeman's cab. Privately owned car painted and lettered for the leather firm Gebr. Bader GmbH, Göppingen, Germany, used on the German Federal Railroad (DB). The car looks as it did around 1959.

German Federal Railroad (DB) type Kklm 433 stake car. Loaded with freight under a tarp cover for the firm "Mink Bürsten" Göppingen-Jebenhausen.
Magirus curved hood truck with a flatbed and a tarp lettered for the firm "Mink Bürsten".

Type Kmmks 51 two-axle sliding roof car, with a brakeman's cab. Privately owned car painted and lettered for the firm Albrecht Braun, Lonsee, Germany. Used on the German Federal Railroad (DB).
Büssing flatbed truck painted and lettered for the firm Braun, with flagstone as a load.

Two-axle beer refrigerator car with a brakeman's cab, Württemberg design. Privately owned car painted and lettered for brewery Brauerei zum Rad, Göppingen, Germany. Used on the German Federal Railroad (DB).
Krupp Mustang truck as a beer delivery truck, with graduated flatbed, painted and lettered for the brewery Brauerei zum Rad, Göppingen, Germany. The railroad car and the delivery truck look as they did around 1959.

Interchange Design (Om 21) two-axle high-side gondola, with a brakeman's cab. Privately owned car painted and lettered for the firm Falk Adler GmbH & Co. KG, Stuttgart, Germany, used on the German Federal Railroad (DB). Fuchs type F 301 power shovel with a tube boom and scrap grabber, painted and lettered for the firm Falk Adler. The units look as they did around 1960.

Four-axle standard design tank car, older design with pressed metal trucks and a brakeman's platform. Privately owned car for the firm Zeller + Gmelin GmbH & Co.KG, petroleum oil refinery, Eislingen/Fils, Germany, used on the German Federal Railroad (DB). MB type LP 328 tanker truck as a flat front, front-steering vehicle painted and lettered for the firm Zeller + Gmelin to transport refinery products. The railroad car and truck look as they did in mid to end of the Seventies.
