Personal

I was born on the 4th of June in 1945 in a small town called Maassluis, the Netherlands.

In 1967 my wife Gretha and I got married. We have two sons, Peter and Martin, both married. And we have two beautiful granddaughters: Linda, who was born in 2003 and Selma also born in 2003.

We have a very black cat called "Droepy". As you can see, she is very interested in the internet business.

The computer has changed, the cat is older but still very black. But not interested in the internet anymore.

In 1982 we moved to Naaldwijk, a village in the so called Westland area. Wellknown for its production of flowers and vegetables in greenhouses.

I worked in Amsterdam as a principal consultant (stratey & architecture) for the IT environment within the ING group. Since 01-01-2007 I'm retired.

Pleasure

Musical favourites are Queen, Bruce Springsteen, Elton John, Emmylou Harris, Linda Ronstadt, Laura Fygi, Dire Straits. I also like to listen to Joe Cocker, Eric Clapton, New London Chorale and many other artists.

We like to dance (standard ballroom and latin) at Dance & Partyplace Irma en Alex Gast.
