Airshow Volkel 2004

The main theme from the show at Volkel was 25 years F-16 in the Royal Netherlands Airforce so the expectations been pretty high with the HAF F-16's on Exersice at Twenthe AB and Norwegian en Portugese F-16's at Leeuwarden for the FWIT. But it was false hope none off the above mentioned F-16's showed up and also some Spangdahlem F-16's didn't made it to the field cause a truck pulled the barrier out and the Vipers had to stay in the holding end after a while they went home. So we had to do it with Belgian and Italian F-16's. The Commentator even made a mistake when he said that it where Danish F-16's. But as the pictures show there also been highlights at the show, and maybe we are just getting spoiled too much.
