1st
Glorious mystery: The Resurrection. In the
end of the Sabbath, as it began to dawn toward the first day of the week, came Mary
Magdalene and the other Mary to see the sepulchre. And, behold, there was a great
earthquake: for the angel of the Lord descended from heaven and came and rolled back the
stone and sat upon it and said to the women: "Fear not ye: for I know that you seek
Jesus, which was crucified. He is not here: for He is risen, as He said". (Matthew
28,1-6) |

2nd
Glorious mystery: The Ascension. "I
came forth from the Father, and am come into the world: again, I leave the world, and go
to the Father". And He led them out as far as to Bethany, and He lifted up His hands,
and blessed them. And it came to pass, while He blessed them, He was parted from them, and
carried up into heaven. And they worshipped Him, and returned to Jerusalem with great jot.
And were continually in the temple, praising and blessing God. (John 16,28 - Luke 24,50-53

3rd
Glorious mystery: The Descent of the Holy Spirit. These all continued with one accord in prayer and supplication, with the women,
and Mary the Mother of Jesus, and with His brethren. And when the day of Pentecost was
fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. And suddenly there came a sound
from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and there appeared unto them cloven tongues like
as of fire, and it sat upon each of them. And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost,
and began to speak with other tongues.
(The Acts 1,14 - 2,1-4) |

4th
Glorious mystery: The Assumption. Now that
Mary is raised into heaven, She prays for Her sons and daughters, those sons and daughters
Jesus left Her when He was on the cross. Mary, pray for us, You know our fears, take us
into Your Hearth, the Heart of a Mother. Help us now and in the time of our death to be
with You in heaven. We ask of You a devotion to Your Immaculate Heart, where we may take
refuge in times of trouble. Glorious Queen of the world, be our advocate. (Brevier) |

Glorious mystery: The Coronation. And
there appeared a great wonder in heaven; a woman clothed with the sun, and the moon under
her feet, and upon her head a crown of twelve stars.
After Her assumption, Christ exalted Her with Himself in
the Kingdom of heaven, crowning Her Queen of heaven and earth, and establishing Her as
sole mediatrix of every grace and blessing that He is pleased to bestow upon both men and
angels. Glorious Queen of the world, be our advocate. (John 12,1) |
