The right treatment of the bulb is very important to ensure a good and
rich flowering.After the growth season the bulbs are dug out of the soil and dried.
After this the bulbs need a special treatment to break the rest period of the flowers.
This is done in cool stores and takes ten weeks.
This treatment is often also a problem cause the flowers start to grow directly. In
shops the flower would grow out of the box. To prevent this problem the bulbs are often
treated for a shorter time.
Bulbs that are not completely treated will flower slow and with less stems. small bulbs
will probably not flower at all.
