Picture 2 Having fun in Snettishampark between King's Lynn and Hunstanton. Snettishampark has a 45 minute safari round the farm. In our case with a landrover. It is an experience to walk between the deers and hand feeding them. |

Picture 3 The cottage was in Little Bocombe, near Parkham, in North Devon. Around the Bocombefarm are old, now uncared, gardens with ponds. Date: 23-04-2005 |

Picture 4 Clovelly The tiny fishing village of Clovelly hangs on a 400ft cliff about ten miles west of Bideford on Bideford Bay. The village is traffic free and the main street tumbles its cobbled way down 400ft of solid rock to the tiny harbour and lifeboat station, both protected by an ancient stone breakwater. It is a descent through flower-strewn cottages broken only by tempting little passageways and tiny winding lanes that lead off to the left and right and offer the prospect of discovering more peaceful, picturesque treasures of Clovelly Date: 23-04-2005 |

Picture 5 Lynton & Lynmouth Cliff Railway A Unique Victorian water powered Lift linking Lynton with Lynmouth for foot passengers. "Devon's top tourist attraction". A remarkable and unique ride. A tramway between the two towns to be worked by a stationary engine at Lynton, the motive power being taken from the river Lyn, put in tanks on rolling carriages and these let down the tramway under proper control. The weight of the water going down would, with the application of simple machinery, bring up anything that might be desired from Lynmouth Date: 26-04-2005 |

Picture 6 Lynmouth 600 feet below Lynton is the small harbour of Lynmouth. The two villages are linked by a famous and ingenius cliff railway. In the picture: Lynmouth harbour at low tide Date: 26-04-2005 |

Picture 9 Lincoln Cathedral Lincoln Cathedral is one of the finest medieval buildings in Europe, which towers above Lincoln, a prominent landmark for miles around. The imposing West Front incorporates the surviving part of the first Romanesque Cathedral dating from 1072. Most of the Cathedral dates from the 13th century when, inspired by the leadership of St Hugh (Bishop from 1186-1200), the Cathedral was re-built in the new gothic style. Later generations added the wonderful carved screen, the 14th century misericords, the Wren Library and the Duncan Grant frescoes. Date: 27-08-2005 |
