This is the Vermeer Home Page with genealogical data of the Vermeer family of the Westland, a part of western Holland. There are more Vermeer families in Holland, as researched by the SGAV, the Vermeer Genealogy Foundation. Information about the Foundation is also on this site. I also included a page with data of Johannes Vermeer, the famous painter from Delft. Another family name I researched is the surname Gezel, a dutch family from Utrecht, Holland, but originally from Bayern, Germany.
