You will need to download the Keygen for 7.0 to generate a new key after reinstalling Photoshop 7.0 and then the update will proceed.

If you have Photoshop already installed and you don't want to uninstall and reinstall:

1) download the Patch.

2) Run the keygen and generate a key.

3) Run the patch and paste the key there and click "write to reg". It will modify the key in registry and then you can run the update.

OR you can do it manually.

What you do is generate a key, copy it (without "-") in:
Open Start/Run... and type the command: regedit and click "OK" (or press ENTER).

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Adobe\Photoshop\7.0\Registration\SERIAL

How to slipstream Office XP SP3:

Note: This is not for Office 2003!

If you have not installed SP1 & SP2, no need to worry as SP3 contains ALL previous fixes and service packs. If you've already slipstreamed SP1&2, don't worry, you can slipstream SP3 into the SP1&2 installation.

Step 1

Create 3 folders - C:\OFFICE, C:\OXPSP3 and C:\ADMIN

Step 2

Insert the Office XP CD into your drive

Open Start/Run... and type the command:
x:\setup /a or x:\setuppls /a (on some versions), where "x" is where your CD drive is assigned.

Note: Do NOT just copy your CD to your HD! Doing so will cause the setup files to grow to more than 900mb, and you will not be able to burn them to CD.

This is going to start the install process of Office XP. You'll be presented with the option of where you want the files to go (choose C:\OFFICE), and you'll be asked to enter your CD key. After entering the CD key, Click "Next" you'll be presented with the EULA, Click "Install". It's going to appear to be installing, but in fact, your files are being copied to your hard drive..., a few more Windows Installer messages will appear, then the completion window will pop up. This will take a while, depending on the speed of your system.

Step 3

Download the SP3 Administrative Update, which is 57.5mb to C:\OXPSP3

Extract the Service Packs from the Run Dialog using the commands:
C:\OXPSP3\OfficeXpSp3-kb832671-fullfile-enu.exe /t:c:\ADMIN /c (US)
or
C:\OXPSP3\OfficeXpSp3-kb832671-fullfile-nld.exe /t:c:\ADMIN /c (Dutch)

This will pop up the EULA for the updates. Click "Yes"

Step 4

Open Start/Run... and type the commands:

(core components update)
msiexec /p C:\ADMIN\Mainsp3ff.msp /a C:\OFFICE\proplus.msi shortfilenames=true /qb

(office web components update)
msiexec /p C:\ADMIN\Owc10sp3ff.msp /a C:\OFFICE\owc10.msi shortfilenames=true /qb

Folder C:\OFFICE contains : Office XP SP3

Step 5

Copy all contents in Folder C:\OFFICE to your burning software and burn baby burn! you don't have to enter CD key next time you install.

I recommend uninstalling Office XP, than install the slipstreamed Office XP SP3.
