Kennel "The Fremery Bouviers"

Kennel The Fremery Bouviers are Carin & Jaco Gouma and of course our bouviers. We live in Holland, in a beautiful little town near the coast called 's-Gravenzande. We take our bouviers for long walks on the beach almost every day. This way we keep our dogs in perfect shape.

What do we do

Due to our contamination with Bouviervirus the time we have next to our jobs (1 part-time & 1 full-time) is spend on our dogs. This time is spend on training, showing, keeping the furs of our bouviers in shape and walking on the beach of Hoek van Holland. One thing is for sure, wherever we are, our dogs are there with us. Occasionally we breed a nest of pups. While breeding and choosing parent dogs we pay a lot attention to their looks, but most of all their character. Until now we have had great results with this way of breeding and we've delivered beautiful, healthy & joyful pups on this world.

How did we started

Our first Bouvier was a blonde Bouvier who came to our house as a heavily neglected dog. With lots of love and even more patience Shiraz turned out to be a terrific dog. That is how we got infected with the virus and our love for bouviers was born. When we decided to get another dog, we found a lovely , beautiful bitch at Kennel v/d Duca Vallei: Cartouche Salsa. With Cartouche everything started: seriously training and our first experience with dog shows. Two years later Genique Camille v. Nomacasso joined our team. With Genique we trained a lot (G&G2) and showing became more serious. Nowadays you can run into us at many dog shows.

 

Cartouche and Genique both had a nest of pups. Last year Genique delivered a beautiful nest, from which some of the pups have had great showresults on shows domestic and abroad. Cartouche's pups perform well to at shows. From each nest we have kept one pup for ourselves. Maybe you have heard of them: Guido Cartouche de Fremery and Cheyenne Genique de Fremery. Both of them can be seen on shows regularly.
