Inspiration
What is music without inspiration? If
you'd ask me: nothing. I've been inspired by lot's of music and
lot's of bands, and at this section of the site I'll try to bring
you in contact with the music I like and the things that I have
discovered lately.
First of all I'm really excited about
the new Jeff Buckley release: Live at the Sin-E as i noticed on the
opening page of this website. The stunning thing about this record
is that he performs all alone in a period that very little people
knew who he was (1993), so he really had to do his utmost. I
allready knew about this Sin-E performance because I own the 4-track
CD but I was really excited when I found the complete concert on CD
this week at the record shop I work in. And it's all worth the money
you've got to pay for it!
Besides that I recieved a demo cd of
a singer/songwriter named Eva with the mail today, and I must say:
this is one of the best things I've heard of and unsigned artist
lately. She really has a voice that moves you deep down in the
heart, and besides that, the combination of piano, violin and
computer works real fine! She reminds me of Tori Amos but I think
she has heard that over and over again. So let me add this: She may
remind me of Tori, she really is nothing less her! If you'd like

Okay, the last thing i'd like to do
is to give you some advices for cd's that you must have! These are
the titles released the last few months you can't miss in your cd
collection: Damien Rice - O (wonderful singer/songwriter), Radiohead
- Hail to the Thief (a wonderful combination of the OK Computer
Radiohead and (thank GOD!!!!!) the Kid A/Amnesiac Radiohead. I love
the blips and the blops!!!) and last but not least Muse with
Absolution. I don't know how they do it, but Origin of Symmetry was
real good (better then Showbiz in my opinion) and now they made an
even better record! Wow!
Well for the future I'm really
looking forward to the No Doubt compilation CD that will be released
this November, you will hear what it's like on this page soon
