Description
Officially this plant is called
Epipremnum pinnatum, the name of this race is "Aureum".
The plant also has names like "Pothos vine", "Devil's Ivy"
and "Ivy Arum". However, the plant is best known with its former name: Scindapsus aureum,
shortly
"Scindapsus". The Scindapsus belong to the familie of Araceae. The plant naturally grows in the forests of
South-East Asia, where its leaves can measure up to 100 centimetres. The
European house plant is a younger form of this plant.
They are twining climbers with fairly thick foliage that show yellow
spots.
The plant
needs plenty of light (but no direct sunlight) when it hasn't much
leaf-green. Still, this tropical plant can withstand dry and fairly dark
environments. During the winter it may be placed in cold spaces.Testresults

Ideal temperature 18 to 22 degrees Celsius, no temperatures below 15 degrees Celsius.

Moderate humidity (50 - 60 %), withstands temporary dry air.
